MFC Comments Pro
MFC Comments Pro extends the Free plugin for sites that need structured review forms, large uploads, automated notifications, and WooCommerce review workflows. It does not replace the Free core; it adds features through standard WordPress hooks and filters, keeping upgrades and deactivation independent.
Pro cannot run on its own. Install and activate MFC Comments Free before installing Pro.
What Problem Does It Solve?
Free handles standard comments, ratings, and image reviews. Pro adds the capabilities needed when your review workflow becomes more advanced:
- Visually create Text, Textarea, Email, Tel, Number, Select, Radio, Checkbox, Rating, Date, Image, Video, and File fields.
- Accept images, videos, PDFs, ZIP archives, and Office documents with separate count, size, and extension limits.
- Upload large files in chunks with retries and SHA-256 integrity verification, reducing failures caused by server request limits.
- Add Cloudflare Turnstile, Google reCAPTCHA V2/V3, or Akismet anti-spam protection.
- Send notifications through email, Webhook, Slack, and Telegram.
- Collect multi-dimensional ratings and display radar charts for factors such as quality, value, and service.
- Integrate with native WooCommerce reviews, synchronize overall ratings, and display a Verified Buyer badge.
- Use advanced comment editing, attachment arrangement, publish-time editing, and audit logs.
- Import comments, ratings, phone numbers, and custom fields in bulk from CSV.

Installation and Usage
- Install and activate MFC Comments Free 1.0.1 or later.
- Upload the
prodirectory towp-content/plugins/mfc-comments-pro, or upload the Pro package in WordPress Admin. - Activate MFC Comments Pro.
- Open MFC Comments → Custom Fields to create review fields.
- Open MFC Comments → Pro Settings to configure uploads, anti-spam protection, notifications, multi-dimensional ratings, and WooCommerce.
- To migrate historical data, open MFC Comments → Comment Import.
Requirements
- A compatible version of MFC Comments Free must be active
- WordPress 6.0 or later
- PHP 7.4 or later
- Third-party anti-spam and notification channels require valid keys or webhook URLs
- WooCommerce features are available only when WooCommerce is active
Pro extends business capabilities without changing where comments are stored. Comment records still use WordPress’ native wp_comments table. If Free is missing or incompatible, Pro stops loading and displays a dependency notice instead of creating a partial data structure.
